On June 11, a small but destructive house fire on the 400 block of 28th Street damaged several homes in our neighborhood, directly impacting three of our neighbors’ households. In response we’re holding a special event to help our neighbors out. Come and join us at Peabody Heights Brewery (401 E. 30th Street) on Thursday, July 6 from 4-8 pm where we’ll be hosting a neighborhood fundraiser and silent auction to benefit the affected families. Peabody Heights Brewery will be donating a portion of their sales to the cause as well.
If you can’t make the event, or if you prefer to donate through other means, we also have a GoFundMe page.
